Gerald A. Wertman, Jr., 54, died in his home in Allentown, Oct. 8, 2016. He grew up in Emmaus and graduated from Emmaus High School. He was a son of Jean R. (Palumbo) Wertman of Allentown and the late Gerald A. Wertman, Sr.

He was a devoted son and brother.

He is survived by his mother; sisters, Kathryn, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lisa Prass, of Bethlehem; brother-in-law, Paul Prass; nephews, Austin Prass, Seth Reichenbach; niece, Angela Prass; stepmother, Phyllis. He was predeceased by a sister, Renae Riechenbach and his father, Gerald A., Sr.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 22 at St. John’s U.C.C., 8065 William Penn Highway, Easton, 18045.
