Debbie Galbraith is the editor of the East Penn Press and Salisbury Press.
Starting as a freelance writer/photographer in 2001, Debbie quickly became well-known to the eastern Salisbury readers as she highlighted the many activities both within the schools and the community. She was the Eastern Salisbury neighborhood columnist and the regular reporter for the Salisbury Township School District school board meetings.
In 2005, she was hired to become an integral member of the Bethlehem Press start-up team, continuing her involvement in Salisbury activities.
In September 2007, she was named editor of the East Penn Press and Salisbury Press.
She is grateful to the many wonderful writers and photographers who so willingly share the commitment of community news. "I applaud the community leaders and readers who continually let us know they count on us to provide an inside view of our schools, the curriculum, the teachers, students, township meetings, pressing issues, communities and outstanding neighbors,” Debbie says.
"I'm grateful to Fred and Scott Masenheimer for continuing this commitment to community news. Through their guidance and support, we will continue to serve our readers as we move forward.
"Most of all, I'm thankful to the readers for their loyalty and the many advertisers who continue to support the paper. Without either of these, we wouldn't be where we are today."
