At the April 17 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting, Resolution 2025-13 was up for consideration. This resolution authorizes the purchase of the Kilareski property at 5190 Lower Macungie Road. This was approved.

This property is 13 acres and sold for $1.1 million.

Roadway improvement for 2025 was discussed. A bid award was considered for this project. There were four bids and the project was awarded to the lowest bidder Bracalente Construction for $462,046.

Micro Surfacing and Crack Sealing was also up for consideration after bidding for the work. Asphalt Paving Systems had the lowest bid which was $362,542.
