Kathleen Palmer has announced she will be seeking reelection as mayor of Alburtis.

“For the past 11 years, I have proudly served our entire community with dignity and pride.

“A mayor’s role is to represent every single resident with respect and, more importantly, to communicate effectively with the residents.

“I have made it my priority to stay informed about all issues arising within the borough. Whether there are emergency matters during the day or night, it is my duty to ensure the safety of our residents. Being a mayor involves more than just planning events and social gatherings; it requires active engagement with the community.

“The role of a mayor is to be available for any concerns residents may want addressed. It is about ensuring all services are accessible to our residents and moving our community forward while keeping the costs of these services to a minimum.

“With your continued support, I will fulfill my duties as mayor and be the voice for the people of our borough. Together, we can move this borough forward and maintain a high quality of life for all our residents.”
