Catasauqua and Northern Lehigh split a Colonial League track and field meet last week. The Bulldog girls won 85-54 while the Catty boys won a 90-59 decision.

Jonathan Cordon-Pinto was a double-winner taking the pole vault by clearing 10-3 as well as the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.5. Daniel Jones was also a double-winner, taking both long distance events. He won the 1600 in 5:39 and the 3200 in 12:47

Other winners for the Catty boys were Frankie Pujols, Hamaad Jenkins, Elijah Estronza and Nikoloz Kemashvili. Pujols won the 100 in 11.4, Jenkins the 200 in 22.7 and Estronza the 400 in 55.6. Kemashvili captured the 800 in 2:37.0.

For the girls, Hailey Jenkins, Kaylin Stewart, Florenni DeJesus Bido and Julie Harth were the lone winners. Jenkins took the 100 in 11.8 and Stewart was the winner in the 3200 with a time of 16:35.0. Bido won the 300 hurdles with a time of 55.7 and Harth captured the triple jump in 30-6.

The Salisbury track and field team swept Catasauqua last week. The girls were 79-69 winners while the Falcon boys won 107-43.

Jenkins won the 100 and 200 for the girls, taking the 100 in 12.2 and the 200 in 26.5.

Bido won the 400 in 1:09.7 and Harth captured the 100 hurdles in 17.6. Harth also won the triple jump with a 29-8.

Alyssa Baker won the shot put with the throw of 30-2 and Jessica Mankos took the javelin with a toss of 83-0.

Josiah Lafond won the 110 hurdles in 16.2 with Pujols taking the 300 hurdles in 44.1. Braden Bartholomew won the javelin with a throw of 114-1. Manny Bolmer had a 22-2 to take the long jump.
