Richard T. Moore Sr., 91, of Northampton, died April 16, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was the husband of Carol J. (Berg) Moore for 69 years.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late William and Cora (Wuchter) Moore.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He began his career at Mack Trucks. Then, he helped at the family-owned dry-cleaning business — Moore Cleaners — in Northampton.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Richard T. II and wife Felicia and her son Jesse and wife Jessica and their daughter Anna, Cathy J. and Timothy C. and wife Rebecca and their daughter Elizabeth and fiance Gavin.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Thelma and Charlotte.

Services are private.
