BETHLEHEM CATHOLIC: “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”

An Old Testament tale comes to life with “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” 7 p.m. April 25, 26; 3 p.m. April 27; 7 p.m. May 2, 3, auditorium, Bethlehem Catholic High School, 2133 Madison Avenue, Bethlehem.

Director Diana Kotlar Tice is assisted by Assistant Director Barbara Ruhl, Choreographer Lisa Quigley and Choreographer Allyn Roche.

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the musical is based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis.

The musical premiered on Broadway in 1982, receiving six Tony Award nominations.
