To Our Readers:
Debbie Galbraith has been named the new editor of the Parkland Press, following the retirement of longtime editor Debra Palmieri.
She has been the editor of the East Penn Press and the Salisbury Press for over 17 years and will continue in that role. She began her association with The Press in 2001 as a writer/photographer, covering stories and events in the Lehigh Valley.
In her new position, she aims to continue the Parkland Press’ tradition of delivering quality journalism while exploring new avenues to engage readers. She can be reached at dgalbraith@tnonline.com or by phone at 610-740-0944, ext. 3705.
George Taylor, a veteran newspaper editor, has been appointed editor of the Northwestern Press. He succeeds Debra Palmieri, who retired April 11 after 28 years in the role.
He will add the editor responsibilities of the Northwestern Press to his current duties as editor of the Bethlehem Press with more than 35 years of experience in the newspaper business.
His appointment will bring an editor with the experience to preserve and strengthen the newspaper’s strong reader engagement.
He can be reached at gtaylor@tnonline.com or by phone at 610-740-0944, ext. 3112.
We are confident these appointments will be a positive step toward maintaining the newspapers’ strong connection with their readership.
