Emmaus swept Whitehall in a track and field meet last week.

The EHS girls won 118-32 while the boys won 123-27.

Despite the loss, Whitehall did have some standout performances.

Edrien Lee won the 100 and 200 for the girls. Her time in the 100 was 12.66 and in the 200 was 26.10.

Whitehall’s girls 400 relay team also took first with a time of 51.91. Members of the team were Lee, Roseline Zulu, Desiree London and Jaylene Wilson.

The Whitehall boys had two winners in the meet.

Joe Nanoah won in the 300 hurdles with a time of 44.37. Jack Lloyd took first in the javelin with a throw of 198-10. Lloyd remains the EPC leader in the javelin as well.
