Freedom for ‘Nice Work if You Can Get It’

The Freedom High School Theatre Company presented its spring musical, “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” on April 11, 12 and 13 in the school’s auditorium theater.

With music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin, based on a book by Joe Dipietro, and inspired by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse, the musical takes place in the 1920s and centers around bootlegging and romance.

Justin Amman directed and was assisted by Natalie Parker. Vanessa Ruggiero was choreographer and was assisted by Jessica Sturm. Costumer and set painter was Priscilla Salazar, musical and pit director was Denise Parker, Adam Stoltz did sound design, and Trevor Flocco was set designer.

Student assistant director was Lydia Hornbaker, Leah Hann was stage manager, and Amy Illescas was assistant stage manager.
