70TH ANNIVERSARY: Cetronia Ambulance Corps is celebrating a milestone year with its 70th anniversary celebration April 25, 5-9 p.m. at the Aster Event Center, 621 Grange Road, Allentown.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the purchase of new equipment, enabling the nonprofit organization to continue saving lives in the Lehigh Valley community and beyond.
Tickets include one drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres, a buffet-style dinner featuring a carving station, desserts, access to casino games, a raffle, a silent auction, and a wine pull.
Guests will also enjoy entertainment from TWK Electro Sound DJ and a cash bar.

ALBANY PANTRY: Friend Inc., Community Services sponsors the Albany Township Pantry on the first Tuesday of each month at the Kempton Community Center. The food pantry and social support services are open to Albany Township residents and families in need.

BENEFIT BINGO: The Sanctuary at Haafsville will be have a cash bingo and basket raffle May 4 at East Greenville Fire Company, 401 Washington St., East Greenville.
Doors open 11:30 a.m. Bingo will be played from 1-5 p.m.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing and baked good available.
Food will be provided by the East Greenville Fire Company.
All proceeds benefit the rescue dogs and cats at The Sanctuary at Haafsville.

PLANT SALE: The Seed Farm, 5854 Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, will host its 11th annual spring plant sale May 10 and May 11 at the farm.
Approximately 230 varieties of locally grown vegetables, herbs, flowers, and native plants, all grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or genetically modified seeds, will be available for purchase.
The sale is held rain or shine.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11.
Starter plants will include a variety of beans, greens, flowers, lettuce, squash, tomatoes, herbs and more.

ELECTRONIC RECYCLING: Lynnport Fire Company along with Responsible Recycling Services will be hosting an electronic recycling day from 9-11 a.m. on April 26 at the Lynn Township Municipal Building, 7911 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.
Free electronics items that will be accepted include desktop computers (fee for monitors), keyboards and mice, printers/fax machines, cables and cords, cell phone and laptop batteries, laptops, UPS battery backup, toner and ink cartridges, audio visual equipment, telephones and cell phones (remove cell phone batteries), DVD players and VCR’s, gaming systems, string of Christmas lights, microwaves and small appliances, metal items, and water heaters, exercise equipment, car batteries (sealed lead acid), metal bed frames, rain spouting, and filing cabinets,
Additional items that can be recycled for a fee include: washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, computer monitor, or floor copier - $20, air conditioner, dehumidifier, water cooler or dorm fridge - $25, refrigerator, floor freezer or console stereo (in cabinet) - $35, TV under 42 inch CRT or flat screen - $40, TV over 42 inch flat screen, in a wooden console, projection type or TV tube or broken screen TV - $60.
Items for off site destruction services for a fee include hard drive - $10 per drive, documents - $10 per standard paper size box, both includes a certificate of destruction.

LITTER DAY: Lynn Township Environmental Advisory Board along with Berger Sanitation, Inc., will be holding a community pick up liter day event April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Pick up hi-viz vests and trash bags at the township building.
You will receive pick up instructions upon arrival or just pick up garbage in the community and bring the trash to the municipal building for disposal.
NATURE WALKS: Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington, will be holding nature walks at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month starting April 9.
Join them outside LGNC’s Osprey House for a serene and educational nature walk.
This event offers participants the opportunity to observe a variety of birds, native plants, animals, and unique ecosystems that thrive in the Lehigh Gap.
If you would like to join their hike but need ADA accommodations, contact LGNC. Hikes will be easy to moderate and approximately 1 to 1.5 hours in length.
All ages are welcome to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Event will be canceled if heavy rain or thunderstorms are in the forecast.

NATURE CAMP: Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington, is accepting registrations for two summer camps to be held at the nature center.
The Budding Naturalist Mini Camp for students finishing grades K-2 will take place from 9 a.m. to noon July 8-11.
Campers and their families will discover a variety of critters that call the Lehigh Gap home as they explore the habitats around LGNC’s Osprey House.
Each day of camp will include a story time, an outdoor adventure, and a craft.
All campers must be accompanied by an adult during this camp.

The Ecology Camp for students finishing grades three to six will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 29-Aug. 1.
LGNC’s Ecology Camp is a summer day camp for youth who are interested in nature and the outdoors.
Campers will investigate a different area of ecology each day as they explore the Kittatinny Ridge.
This four-day camp will include guided hikes, live animals, special guests, ecology themed activities, and more.
