Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 4

A suspected DUI in the 400 block of East 21st Street was investigated.

MARCH 5

A noise complaint was addressed in the 2000 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted at Main and East 21st streets, at East 21st Street and Washington Avenue, in the unit block of West 21st Street, in the 1800 block of Newport Avenue and the 900 block of Main Street.

On Smith Lane, a report of a suspicious vehicle was handled by police.

A report of a suspicious male in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue had police at the scene.

At West 21st and Canal streets, a report of disorderly conduct was investigated.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female at Laubach Avenue and Erdosy Drive.

A hit and run occurred in the 2000 block of Center Street. The front fender of a legally parked vehicle was damaged.

Police responded to a reported civil matter in the 500 block of Banks Street.

MARCH 6

Traffic stops were conducted at Main and R. Paul streets, in the unit block of West 21st Street, at Main and West 17th streets, in the unit block of Lerchenmiller Drive, at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road, at Main and East 15th streets and in the 600, 900 and 1200 blocks of Main Street.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of East Fourth Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 800 block of Dewey Avenue and on a female in the 1000 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted females in the 100 block of East Fourth Street and the 1700 block of Main Street.

Members of the department checked the area in the 1500 block of Main Street.

MARCH 7

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1200 and 2100 blocks of Main Street, at Northampton Avenue and East 23rd Street, at Main and West Ninth streets, at West 21st and Canal streets, at East 21st and Main streets, at East 21st Street and Northampton Avenue, in the 600 block of East 21st Street and at Station Alley and Lincoln Avenue.

A reported civil matter was addressed in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Police assisted females in the unit block of West Fourth Street and the 500 block of East Fourth Street.

In the unit block of East First Street, a report of a juvenile issue was investigated.

Officers checked a building in the unit block of East 21st Street.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

MARCH 8

Police checked the areas in the 600 block of Walker Drive and the 500 block of East 20th Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1000 block of Main Street, at Main Street and Hudson Court and in the unit block of West 21st Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Newport Avenue.

Police assisted males in the 900 block of Main Street, the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and at West 17th and Main streets.

Loud music complaints were addressed in the 1400 block of Canal Street and the 700 block of Dewey Avenue.

MARCH 9

Traffic stops were conducted at Main and East 16th streets and in the 1000 block of Main Street.

A known male trespassing in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue had police at the scene.

A phone fraud scam in the 300 block of East 11th Street was investigated.

Harassment in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Two females were involved in a domestic dispute in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

A report of criminal mischief — air left out of two tires of a legally parked vehicle — in the 2200 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

MARCH 10

Officers checked a building in the 600 block of Main Street.

A suspicious person at East 18th and Main streets was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted at West 10th and Canal streets, in the 600 and 2200 blocks of Main Street, at Canal and West 14th streets, in the 600 block of East 21st Street and the unit block of West 21st Street.

Police checked the area in the 1600 block of Main Street.

Civil matters were reported in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue and the 300 block of East 11th Street.
