George “Joe” H. Albright, 85, died April 9, 2025, at Above and Beyond at the Knights in Allentown. He was the husband of Carlene A. (Baus) Albright for 61 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Wilbur L. and Julia T. (Nicklas) Albright.

He was a 1957 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a foreman in the pyrometry shop at Bethlehem Steel for many years, retiring after operations in Bethlehem were downsized.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph P. and wife Diane and Scott W. and wife Beth; a brother, the Rev. Wilbur “Bill”; four grandchildren, Amber, Michael, Eric and Heather; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Kenzie.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., April 18 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
