Fred Pansing Jr, 93, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Whitehall, died Dec. 17, 2024, in the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, where he had been living. He was the husband of the late June E. (Hencelman) Pansing for 70 years.

Born in Staten Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Fred and Ruth (Fitzmaurise) Pansing.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was a loan officer for the former First National Bank for 18 years before retiring April 1, 1973.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ-Mickleys.

He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Miles.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 1:30 p.m. May 6 at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring.
