Dale A. Heiney, 74, died April 7, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late LaRue A. Heiney for 49 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Donald and Pauline (Jacobs) Heiney.
He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam from 1969 to 1971, working on the USS Hunley as a diesel mechanic. He continued his service with the Navy Reserves until 1975.
He was employed for 31 years at Stanley Vidmar and a drove tractor-trailer for 10 years.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ-Mickleys, Whitehall.
He is survived by two sons, Stanley W. Geisinger and wife Jamie and Donald D. and wife Theresa; five grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Andrew, Lorrell and Drake; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan, Cali, Mia, Ava, Asher, Eli, Samantha and Maddox; a great-great-granddaughter, Kinslee Mae Geisinger; and his brother and sister.
He was predeceased by a son, Darryl Lee; and a great-grandson, Noah.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
