Oscar seemed to be full of tricks at the 97th Academy Awards.

None who entered the annual Lehigh Valley Press Focus “Readers Pick the Oscar Winners” correctly guessed the winners in all seven categories of the contest.

The most correct picks for the winners was five of the seven categories.

Four entrants correctly picked five of the winners in the contest’s seven categories.

Michele Erle had the earliest entry, picked five of the winners and is the contest winner.

Entrants who picked five of the seven contest category winners included Robert J. Ferenchko, Northampton; Michael Nonnemacher, Allentown, and Donna Heard, Bethlehem.
