Visit the College Fair April 24

The Emmaus High School Class of 2025 will host its Senior Ball at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem 6-10 p.m. May 10. Tickets will be sold up until April 23. Students must address all debts before purchasing a ticket and may be denied a ticket due to disciplinary infractions. Guests over the age of 21 are not permitted and if an EHS student wishes to bring a non-EHS student to the dance, they must pick up and submit a guest form from the main office or activities office.

The EHS counseling office will host its annual College Fair 6-8 p.m. April 24 in the main gym and auxiliary gym. Students in all grade levels are encouraged to attend and connect with representatives from over 120 colleges, technical schools, apprenticeship programs and the military.

In partnership with ​​Lehigh Valley Riley Children’s Hospital, the EHS Interact Club is once again holding its annual “Operation Giggles” toy drive. They are collecting new and unopened toys for donation to patients in the Lehigh Valley Riley Children’s Hospital. Boxes are placed outside Room 216 for donation and will be available until the end of April. They will collect infant/toddler toys like rattles, teething rings, stuffed animals, etc. as well as arts/crafts kits and school-age toys such as Legos, K’NEX and action figures and dolls. Students can contact Peyton Kilka at pkilka26@eastpennsd.org with any questions or concerns.

EHS will offer multiple sessions of its driver training course throughout the summer, with exact dates to be announced. The elective course includes nine hours of simulation and three hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and there is a cost. As part of the course, students may be eligible to take the “End of Course Skills Test” at EHS and receive their license pending successful completion. A learner’s permit and completion of the 30-hour Pennsylvania Driver Education course are required before registration. Students can sign up through a Google Form linked on the EHS Driver Training webpage.

In summer of 2027, EHS students will have the opportunity to visit France, Switzerland and Italy. The trip includes exploring several European cities, visiting natural landscapes throughout the area, and learning about European history and culture. Interested students should email Shannon Fraser at sfraser@eastpennsd.org or see her in Room 15. There will also be an informational session held in Room 15 6:30 p.m. April 29.

Students will have early dismissal April 16 and be off from school through April 21 for spring break.
