Schools closed for spring break April 17-21

I can’t believe we are at this point, but here we are ... it’s time for spring concerts.
Salisbury Middle School will hold its spring concert 7 p.m. April 10 and this will include both band and chorus concerts. The Salisbury High School and Salisbury Elementary School concert dates will follow later in May.
The Easter egg hunt previously scheduled for April 5 was rescheduled to April 12 due to weather. The hunt will take place 10 a.m. at Franko Park for preregistered participants.
The next operations and finance committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. April 9 in the administration building.
All Salisbury Township schools will be closed for spring break April 17-21.
Mark your calendars: Salisbury Youth Association will hold a Community Day noon to 4 p.m. May 4 at SMS. More details to follow, but you know it’s always a fun time.
Attention SHS students and parents! If anyone is in need of a prom dress, there is a collection of donated dresses available to those who would like to shop the school district boutique. Please reach out to Jill Williams at jwilliams@salisburysd.org to schedule shopping time. There are also a limited selection of suits for the young men who might be interested.
Guess what’s back? Back again ... breakfast’s back! Tell a friend! (Sorry I just HAD to! If you catch my reference!) The Salisbury Township School District is bringing back the free community breakfast for residents, employees and alumni 9-11 a.m. May 17. Breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice and will be held at SHS, 500 E. Montgomery St. Breakfast is free; however, reservations are required by May 9. Reservations can be made online at salisburysd.org/breakfast or by calling 610-797-2062, ext. 1000.
It’s officially spring and that means the township recycling drop off sites will be open. The Franko Farm site will be open April 10 and 12 and the Devonshire site will be open April 14, 17 and 19. Drop off center hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
