North Catasauqua: Police crack down on reckless biking, vandalism
The North Catasauqua Police Department would like residents to know of directed patrols and zero-tolerance enforcement now in effect in the borough with regard to dangerous bike stunts and vandalism at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

Public Library of Catasauqua’s used book sale is 3-7 p.m. April 11 and then 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 12 in the upstairs community room, 302 Bridge St., Catasauqua.

The North Catasauqua and Catasauqua fire departments’ annual Easter egg hunt will take place April 12 at the park, 701 Grove St. The event starts noon for children ages 10 and under.

The North Catasauqua Porter Chapman Lodge, 1103 Sixth St., is holding an all-you-can-eat breakfast and Easter egg hunt April 12. Breakfast starts 9 a.m., and the hunt begins noon.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., Catasauqua, will have a bag sale on everything in the shop through April 17.
The shop will be closed April 18 and 19 for Easter. The changeover from fall and winter clothing to spring and summer clothing will take place April 21-23.
Regular shop hours are set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Note, any donations or checks to the thrift shop must be written to Catasauqua Community Partnership or CCPI and not to the thrift shop, due to banking regulations.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., Catasauqua, will be holding its free community egg hunt, set for 10 a.m. April 19. The hunt, for ages 1-6, will be held rain or shine.
Bingo is for ages 1-12, and an adult must stay with the child.
