Moore Township: Christ UCC plans spring bazaar
Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, will hold its spring, scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon April 12. There will be homemade Easter candy, white elephant items, baked goods, handmade crafts and more.
The kitchen will be open for eat-in or takeout.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board’s next meeting is 7 p.m. April 14 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

The township board of supervisors next meets 7:30 p.m. April 15 in the municipal building.

The recreation committee will meet 7 p.m. April 17 at the municipal building.

An alert from Moore Township Police Department: There are reports of dead turkey vultures in the Bath area due to the H5N1 bird flu virus. Should you encounter a sick or dead turkey vulture, do not handle it.

Two local Scouts are raising funds to support their Eagle Scout projects. One project will be a memorial at American Legion Eckley E. Patch Post 470, and the other will install bat boxes and owl nesting boxes at Schiavone Park and Appalachian Park in Moore Township.

Bingo is played 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.
