Geza Kardos, 97, of Salisbury Township, died with his wife by his side April 4, 2025, at Walden III Senior Living Community in Wind Gap. He and his wife, Valeria M. (Konya) Kardos, shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Halogy, Hungary, he was a son of the late Geza and Karolina (Balogh) Kardos.

He worked as a presser and cutter at the Greif (formerly Phoenix) Clothing Manufacturing in Allentown for 32 years, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Hungarian R.C. Church in Allentown.

In his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, cabinet making with his brother and building a house with his son.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Geza J., of Salisbury Township; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gizella Pajtli; brothers, Kalman and Joseph.

Services will be private at the family’s request. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
