Emmaus High School students Daniel Witmer and William Zheng, named semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship program in fall 2024, have earned scholarships through the program.

Witmer has been selected as a recipient of a National Merit Carpenter Technology Corporation Scholarship.

The scholarship is sponsored by Carpenter Technology Corporation.

Zheng was recognized with a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship.

“This scholarship is underwritten by National Merit Scholarship Corporation with its own funds,” according to a press release.
