The VFW will be hosting concerts by Scott Marshall April 11, Sons of Izzy April 23, Alias April 18 and Chelsea Lyn Meyer April 25. All concerts begin 7:30 p.m.

All concerts are free to members, but there is a cost for guests and non-members.

Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Egypt, will be holding its annual Easter egg hunt, set for 10 a.m. April 12. Donations of wrapped Easter candy may be placed in the boxes in the church vestibule.

Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will honor Holy Week with a Palm Sunday service 10:30 a.m. April 13, a Messianic Passover/Good Friday service 7 p.m. April 18 and Resurrection Day service 10:30 a.m. April 20.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, has scheduled Holy Week services, beginning with a Palm Sunday service 9 a.m. April 13 and Sunday school 10:15 a.m.

A potluck dinner will be 6 p.m. April 17, followed by a 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service.

Tenebrae service will be held 7 p.m. April 18.

On Easter, April 20, there will be services 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., with Sunday school 10:15 a.m.

In collaboration with Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will hold a free community meal 4-6 p.m. April 15 in the fellowship hall. All low-income Whitehall and Coplay residents are welcome.

Egypt Memorial Park members ages 10 and under are invited to participate in the April 19 Easter egg hunt. Registration begins noon, and the hunt starts 1 p.m.

Candy donations will be accepted 10 a.m.-noon April 12 and 5-7 p.m. April 14 at the park, 4548 Main St.

Country line dancing sessions are back at Egypt park. The sessions are 6:15-8 p.m. April 16 and 30, May 14 and 28 and June 6 and 25.

There is a cost.

Cash bingo is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 24 at the Egypt VFW. There is a cost.

The Union Volunteers and Whitehall Township invite you to a Civil War encampment and skirmish from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 26 and 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 27 at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.
