Douglas S. Wynn III, 71, of Northampton, died March 21, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in North Hollywood, Calif., he was the son of the late Douglas S. Wynn Jr. and the late Dorothy M. (Weller) Wynn Harhigh and stepson of Emmanuel Harhigh.

He served as a seaman in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1971 to 1975 where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Unite Commendation, Expert Pistol Ribbon and Expert Rifle Ribbon.

He was employed by Jim Evans Tree Care, Coopersburg, for many years before retiring.

He was also a member of Coopersburg Fire Company.

He is survived by a son, Derek E. Wynn and Melissa Doyle of Northampton; three grandchildren, Cole, Matthew and Savanna; and a sister, Suzan and husband Larry Graf of Macungie.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Harhigh.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
