Northampton defeated Whitehall in track last week. The girls won 109-41 while the boys won 98-52.

On the boys side, Northampton Jeremiah Strowder was a triple-winner on the day. Strowder won the 400 while also taking the long jump and the triple jump. In the 400 his winning time was 51.1. He had a distance of 18-10 in the long jump and 41-3.25 in the triple jump.

Edwin Wright and Andrew Szeplaki were both double-winners. Wright took the 1600 and 3200 events with times of 5:11.0 and 11:18.6. Szeplaki took the high jump with a 6-2 and the pole vault clearing 14-0.

Other winners for the Kids were Alex Schrampf, Tanner Ault, Dominic Barkanic, Angelo Amato and Riley Montgomery. Schrampf won the 200 in 23.3, and Ault won the 800 in 2:19. Barkanic (17.4 in the 110) and Amato (43.9 in the 300) took care of the hurdle events. Montgomery’s throw of 100-6 won the discus event.

Whitehall had three individual winners for the boys: Justin Hussett won the 100 in 11.2, Carter Troxell won the shot put with a throw of 37-10.5 and Lloyd’s throw of 195-6 won the javelin.

For the Northampton girls, three were double-winners on the day, including Victoria Phillips, Anne Beenders and Alexa Wiland.

Phillips took the 300 hurdles in 50.50 and also won the long jump with a distance of 15-7.5. Beenders won two jumping events, the high jump with a 9-0 and the triple jump with a 35-4.75. Wiland had her wins in the throwing events, with a 76-9 in the discus and a 98-6 in the javelin.

Brooke Saul, Saige Korpics, Lilly Konya, Liv Jusinski, Lucy Colyer and Olivia Hayes also won events for the Kids. Saul won the 400 in 1:03.3, while Korpics took the 800 in 2:38.5. Konya won the 1600 in 5:58.0 and Jusinski won the 3200 in 12:20.8. Hayes took first in the pole vault, clearing 9-0 and Colyer won the shot put with a distance of 34-9.25.

For the Zephyr girls, Edriene Lee was a double-winner on the day taking both the 100 and 200 events. Her time in the 100 was 12.3 and in the 200 was a 26.9.

Keona Spooner’s time of 19.1 in the 100 hurdles won her the top spot.

The NHS girls won the 1600 and 3200 relays with Whitehall taking the 400.
