Week 27

As we finish the season for the Dart League for 2024-2025, we still don’t have a winner for the season. Dryland and St. Paul’s have a makeup match next week to determine a champion. With a pair of 5-1 and 4-2 wins over Emmanuel, losing the nightcap 3-1, Dryland kept its hopes alive as St. Paul’s lost 2 games to Blessed Trinity. Hitters for Dryland were Dave Crothamel 5-12, Bernie Yurko 4-12, Nate Phares also 4-12, and Earl Sigley 4-13. For Emmanuel, Jack Hill was 5-12, Judy Hoffert 4-11, with HRs from Troy Haydt, Al Nesbitt and Tracy Dormida.

Blessed Trinity beat 1st place St. Paul’s 6-5 and 6-5 losing the nightcap 5-4. Leading the way for Blessed Trinity were Tim Hiedelmark 6-14 (2 HRs), Dan Halteman 6-14, Eric Harper 5-10 (HR), and Norm Schoenberger with a HR. Rich Kern was 8-14, Jason Gross 5-12, and Roger Kern 4-12 for St. Paul’s.

In other action, Star of Bethlehem had 10-4 and 4-2 wins over Farmersville, losing the opener 5-3. Top hitters included Tyler Frankenfield 8-15, Kyle Taylor 6-14, and Scott Hoffert 6-15 for Star of Bethlehem. Sue Grim was 5-9 (HR), Dave Deobler 4-11, and Dennis Koehler 4-12.

After a 4-3 loss to Ebenezer, Christ UCC came back to win 7-4 and 1-0. Leading hitters for Christ UCC were Steve Hunsicker 4-7, A.J. Renn 4-13, and Susie Gasper 3-7 (HR). Joey Blevins was 4-12 (HR), Joe Kish had 3 hits, and HRs from Brendan Blevins and Joey Kish.
