Dale R. Pugh, 72, of Slatington, died March 23, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon campus.

He and his wife, Rosanne M. (Goretski) Pugh, were married 46 years.

Born Dec. 5, 1952, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Randolph R. and Eva (Semmel) Pugh.

In his youth, he worked at the former Guy’s Hardware, Slatington.

A heavy machine operator at the former Bethlehem Steel Inc. before retiring, after his formal retirement, he was a bus driver for Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 for 20 years.

He was a Troop Leader for Boy Scout Troop 65 and 66 and an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Randolph Pugh at home, and Jeffrey Pugh and his wife, Jessica, of Lehighton; brothers David Pugh and his wife, Myrle, of Pasadena, Md., and Ronald Pugh and his wife, Cindy, of Allentown; sister Burlene Balliet of Palmerton; and large extended family.
