Warren “Sonny” Gressley, 88, of Danielsville, died March 26, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Guth’s Station, he was a son of the late Oliver and Minnie (Kern) Gressley.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was a laborer for the former Penn Linen for many years and previously worked as a laborer for various warehouses.

He was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield.

He was a premier steel guitar player for close to 60 years in various country and western bands in the Lehigh Valley and Poconos region, notably the Arizona Ramblers and Country Gold.

He was survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a companion of 40 years, Evelyn Longenbach; nine siblings, Dorothy, Beulah Feinour, Oliver Jr., LeRoy, Erma, Elmer, Hilda Rau, Verna and Lucille Frey; and two stepbrothers, Lawrence and Raymond Gallagher.
