Suzanne M. “Kunsman” Reichenbach

formerly of Macungie

Suzanne M. “Kunsman” Reichenbach, 84, formerly of Macungie, died March 28, 2025. Born in Fountain Hill to the late Aloysius and Catherine Boyle, she enjoyed the hospitality industry and waitressed for many years at Hieter’s and Superior restaurants.

She and her husband, Richard, purchased and grew the family business, Reichenbach Trucking Co, in the 1970s before retiring in 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her family and socializing with friends. She and their many Rotties all went to work together everyday and became a fixture in the business office of the company.

Since her husband’s death she has been living in Doylestown at Wesley, Solana and Neshaminy Manor where she made many new friends.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in her care including Doylestown Hospital and its hospice program.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wood (Kunsman) and her husband, David L. Smith; son, Erik S. and his wife, Katie (Ruppert); sister, Kathleen (Boyle) Markle and her husband, John; faithful canine companion, Heidi. She was predeceased by her daughter, Michele (Kunsman) Kline; son, Robert Peter Kunsman; brother, Bobby.

Her life lives on through her eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. April 3 at St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peter’s Road, Macungie. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. April 3 in the church. There will be a gathering, following the interment, for family and friends in the church hall (St. Peter’s Place). Arrangements were made by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus
