The Catasauqua High School Green Team, led by Ms. Staub, enhances the school’s learning environment by adding greenery to the hallways, cafeteria and the outdoor patio. Students are creating a more inviting space throughout the school by using plants, flowers and hand-painted birdhouses.

Reminder: April 2 is the end of the third marking period.

The next Catasauqua Area School District meeting is scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. April 8. The meeting will be held in the district administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

The district will be closed for spring break April 17-21. Schools will reopen and classes will resume April 22. Lehigh Career & Technical Institute will also run on this same schedule.

PSSA testing will begin April 23.

On May 7, there will be an early dismissal. Catasauqua High School students will be dismissed 12:50 p.m.

CASD will be closed May 26 for Memorial Day.

Graduation is set for May 31.

The last day of school for the 2024-25 academic year is June 11.

CASD has bus and van driver job opportunities available. The current starting pay is $22.54 per hour.

Training opportunities are available for individuals interested in obtaining their commercial driver’s license to operate buses. It is possible for a regular run immediately. Interested applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
