Northampton High School graduate
Robert Knopf Sr., 84, of Alburtis, died March 27, 2025. He was the husband of the late Joan (DeLong) Knopf.
Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Rose (Csencits) Knopf.
He was a 1959 graduate of Northampton High School.
He was a supervisor for the former Cross Country Clothes, Northampton, for more than 30 years before retiring.
He was a Lehigh Valley Softball Hall of Fame inductee, member and was on the Hall of Fame selection committee. He was also a PIAA umpire for fast pitch softball.
He is survived by six sons, Robert Jr. and wife Jan, Jeffrey, Christopher, Terry and wife Linsay and Greg; two daughters, Jodi Delabar and husband Ray and Melissa; two sisters, his twin Patricia Fahringer and Tina Vitovitch and husband David; three brothers, Frank Jr. and wife Kathy, Ronnie and wife Patricia and Randy; 13 grandchildren, Brendon, Morgen, Robyn, Mason, Kaleb, Gunner, Terry Jr., Jared, Ryan, Christopher, Casey, Alex and Alan; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Kevin; a grandson, Tyler Klass; and a brother, Thomas.
There will be a calling time 9-10 a.m., followed by funeral services 10 a.m., April 7 at the funeral home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
