Salisbury Township Police Department officers were honored for their completion of a series of leadership training courses.

The Law Enforcement Executive Development Association offers a variety of training sessions for law enforcement leadership.

Salisbury Township Police Department Detective Cpl. Diano Reavis and Salisbury Township Police Department Detective Cpl. Thomas Sabulsky were each presented with FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award glass plaques by Salisbury Township Police Department Chief of Police Donald Sabo at the March 27 Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners meeting.

“The leadership training required 40 hours,” Sabo said during the presentation.

Approximately 90% of the Salisbury police force has completed the coursework, Sabo said. The department’s 100% goal will be achieved when new officers complete the courses.

The Trilogy Award recognizes successful completion of the Leadership Trilogy of Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute.

The FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association is a private, nonprofit organization and is not part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation or acting on its behalf, states the LEEDA website.
