Nancy Ann Bowman, 85, of Whitehall Township, died March 27, 2025.

Born in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Meitzler) Trumbauer.

She graduated from Parkland High School in 1957 and Albright College in 1961.

She had a 36-year teaching career, teaching high school English, German and French, before retiring from Northampton Area School District in June 1997.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan with John Weldner and Patti Schaffer; four grandchildren, Brian with Tara Weldner, Abbey Weldner, Sarah Schaffer with Jake Kerchner and Faith Schaffer with Mason Boettger; four great-grandchildren, Jayce, Ella, Amara and Gwen; two brothers, David Trumbauer with Roseann and Robert Trumbauer; nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Doug Schaffer; two brothers, Richard and Alan Trumbauer; and a sister, Mary George.
