The NASD elementary strings showcase concert will be performed 7-8:30 p.m. April 4 in the auditorium at NAHS.

Secondary report cards will be available on Sapphire starting April 8. The end of the third marking period was March 27.

Lehigh Elementary School’s fifth-grade panoramic picture day will be April 10. Pictures will be taken of the class outside, and pictures of club members will be taken in the gymnasium.

NASD hosting its gifted program 6-7:30 p.m. April 15 in the cafeteria at Northampton Area Middle School.

NAMS’ fifth-grade transition parent information night will be held 6-8 p.m. April 16 in the cafeteria at NAMS. This orientation is for parents/guardians of incoming sixth-grade students.

NASD will be closed April 17-21 for spring break.

NASD’s PSSA testing window for language arts for grades 3-8 will be April 21-25. Testing is important, and to help make PSSAs the most successful, it’s recommended students get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast and attend daily.

Save the date: The Class of 2025 commencement ceremony will be 7:30 p.m. May 30, with rain dates of May 31 and June 1, at Al Erdosy Stadium. Every graduating senior will receive 10 tickets at graduation practice the week of commencement.

Give your child a great start to a bright future. Community Services for Children and Head Start of the Lehigh Valley, in partnership with NASD, is offering prekindergarten, which can give your child a strong start in school and in life. It is no cost to you.

The program is for 3- and 4-year-olds residing in NASD and for families whose yearly income meets guidelines. It will be held in the NASD elementary buildings.
