Coplay: Craft, vendor fair scheduled for April 5
Coplay Borough’s fourth annual spring craft and vendor fair will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 5 at Coplay Social Hall, 165 Cherry St. Come see what crafters have made during the winter months.

American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., will be holding its ham and cash raffle April 6. Doors open noon, and drawings are 1-5 p.m.

The grand opening of the new social club was held March 15. It was a success, and members and guests are invited to come visit the new facility.

Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association’s annual Easter egg hunt will be held 1 p.m. April 19 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St. The event will be held rain or shine, and the Easter Bunny will be there.

American Club of Coplay is planning a dance night April 25. Doors open 5 p.m., and the Castaways will perform 7-10 p.m.
There will be a cash bar and food provided by a food truck from SMP Market.

The heritage committee at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., is sponsoring a Viennese Ball 2-5 p.m. April 27. Don your fancy attire and listen to timeless music on the dance card.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church is planning a bus trip May 21 to see “Noah” at Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. The round trip includes a stop at Kitchen Kettle, show ticket, dinner at Shady Maple, driver gratuity and snacks and refreshments on the bus.
A nonrefundable deposit is required, and the full balance must have been paid by March 25. Make checks payable to the church and send payment to the rectory.

The borough is taking applications for the 2025 Coplay pool manager, lifeguards and gate guards. Applications are available at the borough office 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.
If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.
The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.

The Coplay Scholarship Fund Committee is awarding two $5,000 scholarships to Coplay residents who graduated from high school in 2024 and are planning further education at university, college, technical school or the police academy.
Scholarships are awarded annually. To support the committee, a 503(c)(3) nonprofit, send contributions to 41 N. Eighth St., Coplay, 18037.
