Barbara Kitson
Barbara Kitson, 94, of Macungie, died March 21, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Frederick Kitson for 41 years before his passing in 2017. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Cunfer) Grim.
Born and raised in Cetronia, she was a graduate of South Whitehall High School, Class of 1948. Through the years she was employed as a bookkeeper for several companies. Before their retirement she assisted in her husband’s consulting business, F.K. Kitson Safety Associates.
She was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C., Trexlertown.
She is survived by sons, Donald Fritzinger and his wife, Amy, of Breinigsville, James Fritzinger and his wife, Anne, of Waynesboro and Richard Fritzinger and his wife, Sandra, of New Tripoli; grandsons, Michael Fritzinger and his wife, Suzie, Mark Fritzinger and his wife, Dana, both of Orefield; great-grandchildren, Frank, Maggie, Samuel and Lucy; stepchildren, Lee and his wife, Dawn, of New Tripoli, Margaret “Peg” Knowles, of Winter Garden, Fla., Susan Haas and her husband, Timothy, of Kutztown and Gail, of Allentown; 10 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. This large family was never failing in love and support. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Grim (Shirley) and William Grim (Lorraine) and by her sons’ father, Sterling Fritzinger.
