LV ACADEMY NEWS By Ebony Lyons

Lehigh Valley Academy kicked off the spring season with its annual Spring Showcase, celebrating student creativity, talent and dedication. This event brings together students, families and faculty to admire artistic and academic achievements.

The evening featured stunning art displays, live performances and student exhibits highlighting students’ hard work and passion. Hallways were lined with colorful paintings, sculptures and innovative projects, demonstrating students’ artistic expression and academic growth. Parents and families explored the exhibits, engaging with the students to learn more about their inspirations and creative processes. One of the highlights of the evening was live performances, when students took the stage to showcase their musical, theatrical and dance talents.

Beyond the performances and exhibits, the Spring Showcase served as a moment of pride and reflection for both students and educators. The event not only celebrated individual achievements but also reinforced the supportive and inspiring community that makes Lehigh Valley Academy a special place for learning and growth.

As opening day approached, the Lehigh Valley Academy theater program was in full swing, preparing for its highly anticipated production of “Footloose: The Musical.” The cast and crew had been working tirelessly to bring this show to life, promising an unforgettable performance filled with high-energy dance numbers, powerful vocals and an inspiring story.

The show ran March 29 and 30 at Nazareth MS, with students showcasing their talents in this beloved musical, which follows the journey of Ren McCormack as he challenges the rules of a small town and brings the joy of dance back to its people.
