Coffee with a cop

The Colonial Regional Police Department, in cooperation with the Hanover Township Community Center, held its seventh annual ‘Coffee with a Cop’ engagement event on March 25, giving residents a chance to meet with officers and discuss their concerns about law enforcement matters. Several residents who showed up expressed concern about traffic issues. Nineteen-year township residents Bill and Janice Stein say they have noticed many drivers running red lights and expressed their concern about it to Officer Andrew Laudenslager as they sat talking at a table. About six officers attended and met with residents who turned out for the meet and greet. The department treated attendees with coffee and doughnuts.
