“Mamma Mia!” brings romance to the stage with classic ABBA hits, 7 p.m. April 2, 3, 4; 2 p.m., 7 p.m. April 5; 2 p.m. April 6, auditorium, Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Avenue, Emmaus.

Set on a Greek island, a young bride-to-be invites three men from her mother’s past to her wedding without consulting mom. She is determined to find out which one is her father and have him walk her down the aisle.

Director Jill E. Kuebler is assisted by Music Director Julia Wallace, Choreographer Jerri L. Brown, Set Designer Chris Kollar, and Costume Coordinator and Properties Designer Diane DiDona.

With music and lyrics by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and book by Catherine Johnson, the musical comedy debuted on Broadway in 2001, receiving five Tony Award nominations.

Production numbers include “Dancing Queen,” “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” “The Winner Takes It All” and “Mamma Mia!”
