Parkland girls lacrosse team looks to bounce back in ‘25

The Parkland High School girls lacrosse team is looking to improve upon a rare down year last year the program had last season.

In 2024, the Trojans went 6-12 overall and 2-6 in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, missing out on postseason play.

The Trojans are seeking their first conference and district golds since the 2019 season. Even after a unique season a year ago, head coach Brittaney Costigan and her staff have the talent and experience on this 2025 squad to be back at the top of the league and district.

Parkland has a strong core of players returning from last year’s team, including Anna Sensinger, Lila Temchatin, Addison Winfield, Milla Hahn, Marina Galligani, Kendra Hovan, Kyla Smith and Katie Generose. The Trojans also welcome in a newer group that will look to make contributions, including Audrina Stewart, Emma Roseman, Anna Madeira, Juliana Varano, Brynn Snyder, Olivia Esteban, Mia DePinho, Sam Schippell, Sydney Sensinger, Cara Skrapits and Jade Caravello.

“We are expecting to have a stronger season than the year before and make it further into May than the year before,” said Costigan. “We have a young team, without a ton of varsity experience. We are hoping to be able to use our raw athleticism and natural lacrosse instincts to have as successful as a season as possible.”
