Freedom’s girls’ lacrosse program has always been competitive throughout the years and the Pates look to be on that path again this spring.
Coming off last year’s 11-5 finish, head coach Charis Innarella returns with a group looking to make another run back to the postseason.
Returning players this season include Arianna O’Keefe (Sr., Goalie); Karee Vandever (Jr., Midfield); Jenelle Karabinus (Jr., Attack); Saige Carter (So., Midfield); Emma Mannino (Jr., Attack /Midfield) and Bayden Hancock (Sr., Defense).
Freshman Rebecca Snell also figures to be in the mix for varsity action
“Vandever and Karabinus return for their junior years as our leading scorers and captains,” said Innarella. “Standout goalie captain Arianna O’Keefe will lead things on the defense end. Our strength runs through our midfield with Carter, Vandever and Mannino.”
“We have a lot of inexperienced players stepping into big roles. We will continue to push the fundamentals and look to improve with every competition.”
