Owen W. Eberhart Jr., 85, of Fullerton, died March 8, 2025, while residing with his son in North Carolina. He was the husband of the late Judith A. (Scheirer) Eberhart for 58 years.

He was a son of the late Owen W. Sr. and Pauline E. (Willitts) Eberhart of West Catasauqua.

He was a 1959 graduate of Whitehall High School.

In 1965, he started working for PP&L.

He served on the Whitehall-Coplay School Board for 18 years and was a past president. He was the driving force that formed the soccer program at WHS.

He was also a past president of Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit. He was involved with Fullerton Athletic Association for 18 years as a coach and served as president of the organization. In 1970, he was elected president of the Whitehall Jacyees and was elected regional vice president. He was a member of Greenleaf Lodge 561 F&AM, along with Rajah Shrine.

He is survived by two sons, Scott and Chad with wife Melissa; a granddaughter, Scarlett; a sister, Marlene Polgar; two nieces, Dawn and Shelly; and a nephew, Todd.
