Gloria Mae Ringer
Gloria Mae Ringer, 79, of Fellowship Community and formerly of Schnecksville, died March 6, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stanley R. and Mae K. (Hunsicker) Ringer.
She was a 1963 graduate of Parkland High School and earned a master’s degree in German language and literature from the University of Colorado.
She served her country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era and Desert Storm era with a rank of sergeant first class.
She was employed as a German teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District for three years. Since her formal retirement, she worked full time for the former Sacred Heart Healthcare System.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she formerly served on the consistory, was a Bible study leader and vacation bible schoolteacher.
In her youth, she was a member of 4-H, and while residing at Fellowship Community, she participated in numerous administrative and social committees.
She is survived by a brother, Alan D. of Schnecksville; a niece, Naomi R. and husband Rev. David B. Guenin of Muncy; two great-nephews, Gabriel Guenin and Jeremiah; and a great-niece, Julia Guenin.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Carlton R. and Larry J.; and a nephew, Jonathan D.
There will be a calling time 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service 10:30 a.m., April 5 in the Zentz Community Center at Fellowship Community, 3000 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall.
