Notre Dame HS Theatre Company presents ‘Anything Goes!’ (2022 revision)

Looking for a fun evening of musical comedy? Notre Dame HS Theatre Company presents “Anything Goes,” a buoyant and brassy musical comedy packed with romance, mistaken identities, and over-the-top antics on the S.S. American. The 2022 revision runs from March 28 to 30; 7 p.m. March 28 and 29 and 2 p.m. March 30 in the Notre Dame auditorium.

“This toe-tapping classic with music and lyrics by Cole Porter will have you cheering for true love, laughing at the high jinks, and tapping along from beginning to end,” says director Caitlin Bach. This is Bach’s seventh show at Notre Dame.

“The magic of theater isn’t just in the final performance – it’s in the journey that gets us there,” Bach says. “From the first read-through to the final curtain call, this cast and crew have poured their hearts into bringing this particular story to life. To see the cast and crew enjoying what they are doing, growing in their community, and thriving throughout is why I do this work.

“As with any show, it takes a village to make all the different aspects come to life,” the director explains. “We have had a handful of steady volunteers who have guided our student crew of 26 as they have learned how to construct, assemble and design the different elements of our set. Our program has grown quite a bit over the last few years. For Anything Goes (2022 Revision), we have a cast of 41, which is the largest we have ever had.”
