BETHLEHEM social calendar March 26

ROTUNDA GALLERY: The Printmakers Society of the Lehigh Valley will hold a members’ exhibition “Regional Collective Impressions,” at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from April 6 to May 16. There will be an opening reception Sunday, April 6, from 2 - 4 p.m. The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church St. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The exhibition will showcase images created using a variety of techniques and materials. Examples of traditional fine art printmaking methodologies are interspersed with prints that have been created using experimental methods and materials still within the context of printmaking.

BOOK FAIR: Bethlehem AAUW’s annual used book sale will be held April 24-28, at the Bethlehem Municipal Ice Rink, 345 Illick’s Mill Road. Preview (admission), April 24, 2 to 6 p.m. Book donations accepted April 1 to 21, Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. Proceeds benefit scholarships and other educational programs. EARTH DAY: Northampton County is excited to announce the Earth Day 2025 Festival, set to take place April 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Northampton Community College Main Campus Quad. This family-friendly event is free to the public and promises a day filled with fun, education and celebration of our planet.

The Earth Day Festival is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a day outdoors while learning about sustainability and environmental stewardship. With a variety of engaging activities and entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

AMERICA’S BEST: USA Today has named Bethlehem’s idyllic Main Street one of the Best in America. A panel of travel experts included the historic Main Street in its list of 20 places that offer, “living history, have a vibrant culture, and serve as the hearts of their communities.”

Historic Hotel Bethlehem’s leadership is especially excited about the recognition. Director of Room Sales and Guest Experience Kelly Ronalds said, “Over the past several years, we’ve worked hard to raise awareness among national travel experts about our amazing Main Street. We’ve been honored to welcome them as guests and show them around town.”

SANGRIAFEST: Sangriafest is returning to the SteelStacks Campus June 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. with VIP access from 1 to 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at steelstacks.org. General admission tickets include unlimited samples of 12 different sangrias, musical entertainment and access to a variety of food trucks, vendors and lawn games.
