NOTRE DAME: “Anything Goes”

“Anything Goes (2022 Revision)” sails the stage of Notre Dame High School, 7 p.m. March 28, 29; 2 p.m. March 30, auditorium, Notre Dame High School, 3417 Church Road, Bethlehem Township.

“Anything Goes” is about the misadventures of an ocean liner stowaway who falls in love with an American debutante.

Director Caitlin Bach is assisted by Music Director Ben Stefan, Choreographer Erin Griffith, Technical Director Aaron Bach, Student Assistant Director Abbey Benner and Student Assistant Choreographer Tina Andreano.

With music and lyrics by Cole Porter, book by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse, and revised by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, the show debuted on Broadway in 1934.

The 1987 Broadway revival received 10 Tony Award nominations, winning three Tonys. The 2011 Broadway revival was nominated for nine Tony Awards, receiving three Tonys.

Production numbers include “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “I Get a Kick Out of You” and “Friendship.”
