Students and staff at Northwestern Elementary celebrated Read Across America with a spirit week. March 6 was dress as your favorite book character day. Tara Reigle dressed as The Cat in the Hat, while students Ella M. and Rowan T. chose Thing One and Thing Two.

Destiny E. chose Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz,” while Librarian Sue Hanlon was a cow from “Click, Clack, Moo,” to build excitement for the upcoming visit from its author, Doreen Cronin.
