Robert T. Hahn
Robert T. Hahn, 83, of Whitehall, died on March 5, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem.
He and his wife, Rita C. (Cariot) Hahn, celebrated 55 years of marriage in October 2024.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Arlington S. and Theresa K. (Kozo) Hahn.
Known as Hahny or Rooster, he was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem.
He last worked as a salesman for the former USF Red Star Trucking Company.
He was the kind of person to spark a laugh, light up a room, and remind everyone that life is meant to be enjoyed.
His fun-loving nature, combined with his deep kindness, touched the lives of those who knew him.
He could always be found along the fence line of his grandsons’ football games or in the stands at their various sporting events.
He loved manning the grill or delegating to the kids while he supervised from somewhere close on the patio.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors on the golf course or fishing lakeside and was happiest while spending time laughing with family and friends.
In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his son, Michael (Jennifer) Hahn of Whitehall; daughter Teresa (Jason) Engelman of Allentown; grandsons Joseph and Kyle Hahn; nieces Lisa Emery of Allentown and Susan (Ronald) Bock of Calif.; mother-in-law Lynn Cariot of Whitehall; and extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Dolores Muth.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
