Norman H. Haberman Jr., 89, of Slatington, died March 7, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Elaine A. (Nagle) Haberman, were married 67 years.

Born Nov. 24, 1935, in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Norman H. Haberman Sr. and Arlene (Ohl) Haberman Hiestand.

He faithfully and honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps during a peacetime era.

He was the East Coast supervisor for Buckeye Pipeline Co, Macungie, for many years before retiring.

A member of Masonic Lodge 792, F.&A.M., he attended Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathy L. Mellenberg and her husband, Scott, of Northampton; brother Donald E. Haberman and his wife, Virginia, of Allentown; nephew Jason A. Haberman and his wife, Allison, of Allentown; and great-nephew Kayden.

He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia A. Funk.
