Beverly Ann Snyder
Beverly Ann Snyder, 76, of Bath, died on March 5, 2025, in St. Luke’s University Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.
She was the wife of the late Thomas C. Snyder Sr.
Born May 9, 1948, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Stanley R. Rumfield Sr. and Hattie Helen (Hummel) Rumfield.
A 1966 graduate of Parkland High School, and a 1985 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College and a 1995 graduate of Dominican College, N.Y. with a degree in occupational therapy, she was a certified occupational therapist in Pennsylvania and Florida for 25 years, working in long-term care, rehabilitation, hospitals, and pediatrics until retiring in 2013.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station.
In her youth, she taught Sunday School and confirmation classes, while assisting in the nursery.
Her survivors include sons Thomas C. Snyder Jr. (Carolyn) of Schnecksville, Timothy R. Snyder (Traci) of Bangor, Terry A. Snyder (Natalie) of Washington Township, and John T. Snyder of Wind Gap; sister Bonita L. Murray of Saylorsburg; brother Scott B. Rumfield (Donna) of Northampton; grandchildren Heather, Adam, Angelica, Alyssa, Gabriel, Grace, Austin and Autumn; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Damien, Jagger, Ellie and Tommy; many aunts and uncles; very kind cousins; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Stanley R. Jr., and Allen R. Rumfield; brothers-in-law Robert H. Snyder and Vance J. Murray; and grandson, Joshua T. Snyder.
